# U-Line built-in removal and reinstallation

What this involves

Quoted openly instead of buried in the repair

Anti-tip, grille, water and drain reconnected properly

Aligned back into the run, not just pushed back

Plan the way out before anything moves

Clearance, the grille, the anti-tip bracket, and on an ice machine the water and drain connections. Joinery gets damaged by improvisation, not by weight.

Protect the surfaces that cost money

Stone counters, timber fronts and tiled floors. A stainless door and a marble edge are a bad combination and it only takes once.

Reconnect everything the manual lists

Water hookup, drain hose without a kink, anti-tip bracket refitted, grille back on. A grille left off is a condenser service in six months.

Then align it back into the run

The door square against its neighbors and closing itself. On an integrated front this is the difference between a repair and a repair somebody can see.
